-Oboe Lessons-
I offer in-person and virtual oboe lessons for students of every skill level!
Expectations:

Students will be given weekly practice assignments based on their individual curriculum that has been put together.

Students are expected to practice at least 30 minutes per day and at least 6 days out of each week. Practicing should have as much priority as other activities so that each student can progress consistently, efficiently, and quickly!
Materials:

Students should bring their oboe, reeds, music, swab, pencil, and other accessories to each lesson.

Students will be required to purchase a variety of method books and music depending on skill level and individual curriculum.

Students should preferably have at least two good reeds at any given time.

Trial Lesson Offer:

I offer each student a discounted 30-minute first lesson. This lesson will outline the expectations, materials, music, and curriculum that the student would cover in lessons each week. We will also discuss goals so that an appropriate curriculum can be made for each individual student.

A 30-minute trial lesson is offered for $15.

Scheduling and Location:

Lessons will be scheduled for times that mutually work for both the student and myself. The set lesson day/time will be recurring each week on a regular basis unless otherwise worked out.

Lesson location will be worked out once a day/time for lessons has been set.

Conflicts that require rescheduling a lesson should be discussed as early as possible, or at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons can then be rescheduled on a day/time that works.
Oboe Reeds:

If available, students can purchase finished oboe reeds for $15 each. If a student would like to purchase oboe reeds, please inform me in advance so that I can prepare reeds to sell at the next scheduled lesson.
